This means a smoother video experience both in session on our plasma screen, and afterwards on DVD in the comfort of your home.
Our highly qualified ultrasonographers have many years of experience in obstetrical ultrasound. This ensures not only professional operating standards, but also optimal imaging of the baby in an efficient timely manner, so that none of your session time is wasted.

A 3D/4D Scan can actually be performed at any time during the pregnancy, however, we suggest that for the best view of baby’s features that the scan be performed between 22 and 37 weeks gestation. We recommend the most successful time is around 28 weeks. If you have a a twin pregnancy book at around 25 weeks.
Your Ultrasound Dimensions 3d baby scan session is for non-diagnostic purposes only. If you wish to have a diagnostic exam we are also able to provide that service to you.

We offer a 100% money back guarantee. Image quality varies from scan to scan depending on many factors including fetal position, location of the placenta, quantity of amniotic fluid around the baby, mother’s condition and bladder fullness. For these reasons, image quality cannot be guaranteed. While it is rare that we cannot get a suitable image, we may arrange another session at a later date at no charge.
Yes, ultrasound appointments should be made as early as possible! Weekends and evenings are the most popular appointment times. Call 01 210 0232 for bookings and more information.
Some early pregnancy and medical ultrasound scans do require that you have a full bladder. Other medical ultrasound scans require that you fast for several hours before your exam. For a 3D 4D ultrasound session a full bladder is not required. Overall hydration increases the amount of amniotic fluid around the baby which improves image quality. It is important that you drink lots of water in the few days leading up to your ultrasound. On the day of your ultrasound scan however, we will have you empty your bladder before beginning to optimize your comfort.
Yes, ultrasound has been used safely for over 30 years. There is, to date, no evidence that diagnostic ultrasound has produced any harm to humans, including the developing fetus. Despite its apparent excellent safety record, ultrasound imaging should performed with the latest ultrasound equipment and only be used by people whom are fully trained in its safe and proper operation. It is the scan operator who is responsible for performing ultrasounds safely. If you have any questions or concerns about this please don’t hesitate to ask us.
